One of the most anticipated films of 2019, this Atul Agnihotri and Bhushan Kumar production, we heard, is going to be the best film of Ali Abbas Zafar's career. A source from the sets said, "Bharat is a well-researched and exceptionally well-written film. Ali Abbas Zafar is leaving no stone unturned to make it the biggest cinematic offering. Original stem engines, costumes and arts have been used for the shoot to make sure the film gives the feel of that era."

Bharat, an official adaptation of the 2014 Korean film Ode To My Father, is said to be a mature, subtle love story. It chronicles the story of a man who lives through several significant moments from India's past to present, starting in 1947 and ending in 2010. The film sees Salman ageing from 25-65 years and Katrina ageing from 28-60 years and witnessing one of the most dramatic chapters of Indian history, the Partition.
