Fox Star Studios' Kizzie Aur Manny, the official Hindi adaptation of 2014 Hollywood film The Fault In Our Stars, grabbed the headlines when the film's director Mukesh Chhabra was suspended as the director after two unnamed women accused him of sexual harassment in the then on-going #MeToo campaign. The shooting of the film starring Sushant Singh Rajput and newbie Sanjana Sanghi was stalled after Chhabra's exit putting the project in endangerment.
However, the film soon came back on track when Mukesh Chhabra returned to helm the project after the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) didn't find any evidence against him in their inquiry into the allegation case. Now, the casting director-turned-filmmaker is all set to resume the shooting in January in Paris and we heard a special guest will join Sushant and Sanjana on the sets there.

Peepingmoon.com has exclusively learnt that Saif Ali Khan is doing a special appearance in Kizzie Aur Manny. The Nawab of Pataudi will apparently be seen playing the character of Peter Van Houten, an author originally played by Willem Dafoe in The Fault In Our Stars. "He will shoot for this special cameo sequence in the next schedule which kicks off in Paris next month. Besides his scenes, a romantic ballad featuring Sushant and Sanjana will also be filmed in the City of Lights," a source told us.
This special cameo is apparently a part of the agreement between Saif and Fox Star Studios. The actor has recently signed a film backed by the international corporate studio under an exclusive deal, according to which Saif would have to do a cameo in Kizzie Aur Manny before they roll their new film early next year.
