The golden era of cinema has come to an end with the passing away of legendary actor Dilip Kumar. Born as Mohammed Yusuf Khan on December 11, 1922, in Qissa Khawani Bazaar area of Peshawar, Pakistan, Dilip Sahab breathed his last at 7.30 am today at Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital. Survived by his wife Saira Banu, the actor was 98 years old.
Dilip Sahab will be buried today. The state funeral will take place with strict COVID-19 protocols. PeepingMoon has exclusively learnt that the actor will be buried at a Kabristan in Santacruz. Our sources informed that the burial will take place at 5pm today.

Faisal Farooqui, the family's spokesperson, issued a statement and said, "We, family, discussing the last rites. Will soon announce the timing. We have decided to perform the last rites at 5 pm Juhu Qabristan (Santacruz). We need certain permissions for the same waiting for approval. Different walks of life want to pay tribute but it’s the pandemic time. It can’t be allowed. As of now, it will be a small ceremony which will happen at 5 pm. It will happen today itself and he will be laid to rest in Santacruz is confirmed."
