PeepingMoon Exclusive: Amitabh Bachchan did Chehre for free after finding the script super interesting, received 'friendly appearance' credit

Amitabh Bachchan is all set to entertain the audience with his upcoming film Chehre. While the actor is busy promoting the film with its promos and songs on social media, PeepingMoon has now learned that the superstar has not taken a single penny for Chehre. Big B found the script so interesting that he refused to take any money for the film. Therefore the makers decided to give him opening credits as Amitabh Bachchan (Friendly appearance).

While talking about the same, producer Anand Pandit said, "To avoid any trouble while filing the tax books we decided to give the friendly appearance credits. To Amit Ji". He further added, "Sir was so professional and committed that he also put his own money to commute". Big B is said to have also paid the exuberant cost of the chartered plane he used to travel to the International location for the shoot of the film.

What more? The legendary actor even recited a stirring poem with Vishal-Shekhar's musical touch for the film's title track. This is the first time Big B decided to recite a poem after Silsila and Agneepath.

Produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures & Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited and directed by Rumy Jafry, Chehre also stars Annu Kapoor, Krystle D’Souza, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Raghubir Yadav, Siddhanth Kapoor, and Rhea Chakraborty. The film is now all set to release in the cinema houses on August 27, 2021.
