The Mumbai Police, which does not want a media trial into Sidharth Shukla’s death, is going to follow protocols in its investigation. They will talk to all those who were close to Sidharth and especially those who interacted with the TV star over the last two days.

According to his elder sister, Sidharth said he was feeling unwell last night and retired to his bedroom. His reported girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill was also at Sidharth’s Oshiwara row house. It was Shehnaaz who reportedly found him unconscious this morning and alerted Sidharth’s sister.

Doctors Shiv and Niranjan at Cooper Hospital are reported to have said that Sidharth died at midnight. Police are looking into how those at home did not discover him till this morning. The actor is survived by his mother and two elder sisters.
