Shehnaaz Gill, the rumoured girlfriend of Bigg Boss 13 winner and popular TV actor Sidharth Shukla, was reportedly the one who found him unconscious in the morning yesterday and tried to revive him in vain. The police managed to record her statement despite Shehnaaz going into hiding to avoid the media glare for most of yesterday after Sidharth’s death

For Shehnaaz, who hails from Punjab, Sidharth was her family in Mumbai. The actress participated with Sidharth in Bigg Boss 13 and were inseparable after that. Shehnaaz told the police that she tried desperately to wake up Sidharth. His head was in her lap. But his body had turned cold. That’s when Shehnaaz realised he was gone. Much before they reached Cooper Hospital.

Shehnaaz was with Sidharth on the fateful night. The actress apparently told the police that after Sidharth began feeling uneasy on Wednesday evening, she insisted he should see a doctor. Calling him stubborn, Shehnaaz said he didn’t pay heed to her and ignored the indication of a massive cardiac arrest. Now Shehnaaz can’t get over her loss.
