Kaveri Priyam, who is currently winning the hearts of the audience as Monami in Sab TV's Ziddi Dil Maane Na, is super excited to celebrate Diwali. Now, as the country is returning to normalcy, the actress is keen on hosting parties for her industry and non-industry friends.
Talking to PeepingMoon.com exclusively, Kaveri shared her plans for Diwali. She told, "Malls are open, theatres have reopened so it’s a different kind of feeling. It feels we are returning to our normal lives after years. I am definitely planning to go to theatres this Diwali with family and friends."
As a child, Kaveri would indulge in sweets on Diwali, make rangolis and decorate her surroundings with lights. She shared, "I remember making rangolis and lighting up my house. Shopping for Diwali was so much fun. We would also visit our neighbours with boxes of sweets. That's how I still like to celebrate Diwali."
Kaveri has never been a fan of firecrackers. Sharing her thoughts on cracker-free Diwali, the actress said, "'I am forever against noise and air pollution as in some way or the other everyone suffers because of it. The ramifications could be long lasting. It can adversely affect future generations. After the COVID-19 pandemic, things have become more serious. We can’t afford bursting crackers even if we love to.
