Raveena Tandon is all set to make her thrilling digital debut in Netflix’s series Aranyak. In an exclusive chat with PeepingMoon.com, Raveena spoke about the violence perpetrated against women and society’s nonchalant attitude towards the fairer sex. She slammed society for its insensitivity, misogyny and regressive attitude towards violence against women.
Raveena, who plays a cop in Aranyak and has previously brought forth the important issue of marital rape in her 2001 film Daman, said, “Why are we still only talking about marital rape and molestation? When will we start making the change?”
Aranyak is a murder mystery and also stars Parambrata Chatterjee, Ashutosh Rana, Zakir Hussain and Meghna Malik in pivotal roles. It is slated to start streaming on Netflix on December 10, 2021.
