Ranbir Kapoor, as admitted by him, is at the best phase of his life, both professionally and personally. Be it back-to-back big releases - Shamshera and Brahmastra, or getting married to Alia Bhatt and becoming a father soon, the actor is at his best.
In a recent exclusive conversation with PeepingMoon's managing editor Ankita Bhalla, Ranbir spoke about making it to the headlines a lot more these days. He said, "It feels very weird. I am very happy being invisible and only coming to the forefront when my films are out. But now everything is coming together so it feels like I am getting over-exposed. It wasn't in my hands. Everything happened very naturally if it's the movies, if it's marriage, or if it's being a father. I am embracing everything with an open heart. I am excited and thrilled about every role that I have to play. I am grateful all good things are happening to me. I look forward to each and everything."
On the work front, the actor is currently busy promoting YRF's Shamshera co-starring Vaani Kapoor. The story of Shamshera is set in the fictitious city of Kaza, where a warrior tribe is imprisoned, enslaved and tortured by a ruthless authoritarian general Shuddh Singh, played by Sanjay Dutt. This is the story of a man who became a slave, a slave who became a leader and then a legend for his tribe. He relentlessly fights for his tribe's freedom and dignity. His name is Shamshera.
The high-octane, adrenaline-pumping entertainer is set in the 1800s in the heartland of India. It has the big promise of a never seen before Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Shamshera in the film! Sanjay Dutt plays Ranbir’s arch-enemy in this huge casting coup and his showdown with Ranbir will be something to watch out for as they will ferociously go after each other with no mercy. Directed by Karan Malhotra, this action extravaganza has been produced by Aditya Chopra and is set to release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on July 22, 2022.
