In the month of March, it was confirmed that the biopic of politician, activist, and writer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, popularly known as Veer Savarkar will be headlined by Randeep Hooda. Titled Swatantra Veer Savarkar, it was to be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.
However now, PeepingMoon.com has exclusively learnt that Mahesh has opted out of the project. Our sources further informed us that Randeep, who was initially cast to play the titular role only, has taken over the directorial responsibilities too. We also learnt that the shoot will kickstart in Maharashtra next week.
