Femina Miss India 2020 runner-up, Manya Singh, has given her nod to Bigg Boss 16. The daughter of a rickshaw driver, she has been a part of a few brand commercials after the beauty pageant. Manya, after facing struggles, purchased a flat in Mumbai for her family recently.

In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon.com, Manya spoke about her expectations from Bigg Boss 16. She also spoke about facing financial difficulties and has participated in the show to keep her income steady. Excerpts from the interview:

What’s your expectation from Bigg Boss 16?

I have a list of expectations. I want people to know me as Manya and get as far as possible.

Were you approached for any previous seasons?

Yes, I was offered Bigg Boss last year but couldn’t do it. This year, I am all set.

How has life changed after Miss India 2020?

Life has changed completely but I still feel like a part of the roller coaster. Working hard and facing the real world is very difficult.

How did your parents react to the news of you signing Bigg Boss 16?

They were happy and on the other hand, I was calm.

It is often said that actors do Bigg Boss either due to lack of income or unemployment. Some are often shamed for it too. Do such notions affect you too?

I have a crisis and everybody is aware of that. Everyone should own it. Money is materialistic, chala jaata hai jaldi. Paisa haath ka mail hota hai. If you want money in your hand, you have to keep working.

Are you open to finding love on the show?

Let’s see. If you are looking for love, it will never happen. It’s unpredictable. Be happy and love will find you if it is meant to.
