PeepingMoon Exclusive: 'There's quid pro quo relationship between Rakhi Sawant & social media, she is amazing and doesn't need sympathy,' says Cinema Marte Dum Tak creator Vasan Bala

Vasan Bala, in his docu-series titled Cinema Marte Dum Tak, took the blanket of judgements off B-Grade films with a dash of humour and loads of emotions. While the Amazon Prime Video Original focused on directors like J Neelam, Dilip Gulati, Vinod Talwar and Kishan Shah, actors like Rakhi Sawant also made an appearance and spoke about B-Grade films. In a bid to normalise those kinds of films, Rakhi put forth a statement on why they shouldn't be judged as people back then would come in huge numbers to theatres for the sole purpose of entertainment.

Rakhi, a popular face, is often trolled for her outfits and mannerisms despite being loved by millions. When she spoke, people listened. Now, in an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon.com, Vasan, the creator of Cinema Marte Dum Tak, reacted to Rakhi being judged for the way she conducts herself and her social media presence.

Vasan said, "Rakhi is a cool person and she understands trolling is a form of attention. She is smarter and understands better how social media operates. There are things for effect too. There’s a quid pro quo relationship between her and social media. She doesn’t need sympathy, she is amazing the way she is."

More power to Rakhi!
