PeepingMoon Exclusive: Pathaan dialogue writer Abbas Tyrewala reacts to whether Shah Rukh Khan-Salman Khan's post-credit scene was a dig at new-age actors trying to replace the superstars

It goes without saying that the post-credit scene of Pathaan is still the talk of the town. Without a doubt, it is one of the most entertaining and hilarious scenes ever written in Indian cinema. Featuring superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in completely different settings and avatars, one cannot get enough of it. 

Now, in an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon.com, Pathaan's dialogue writer Abbas Tyrewala reacted to whether it was a dig at new-age actors who believe they can replace the superstars. He told, "Why don’t we leave that to the imagination of the audience?"

In the end-credits scene, Shah Rukh and Salman, in their characters Pathaan & Tiger, are sitting on a railway track. They're discussing their journey of 30 years and whether they should now call it quits. As they wonder who could replace them, they come to the conclusion that nobody's worthy enough to be their substitute. In the end, Shah Rukh says, "bachchon par nahi chhor sakte."
