Bigg Boss 16’s former contestant and actress Priyanka Chahar Choudhary sat down for our first Women's Day Special episode, 'ExtraordiNari' with our Managing Editor Ankita Bhalla. The candid conversation was feisty, fiery and fearless just like the qualities that Priyanka exudes. During the conversation, Priyanka spoke about feminism and why she advocates and stands by women power.
Speaking about being a feminist, Priyanka said, “My concept of feminism doesn't differentiate between men & women but I do want to see my girlfriends become successful and I root for them at every juncture. I am a feminist and I want to see women take the lead but I don’t demean my guy friends either. It’s wrong to say that women are insecure of each other, I don’t agree to that, I ensure that my girl friends also get the opportunities to excel.”
Priyanka also spoke about oscillating between TV & Bollywood, and her connection with Shah Rukh Khan and taking inspiration from her namesake Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
