Speaking of all the B-town divas she has styled, Tanya mentioned that she has had the privilege of styling both the ever-green Sridevi and her daughter Janhvi Kapoor. “I used to love to watch Chandni and Lamhe. Sridevi was like the 'Dream Girl' for me. So I remember when I worked with her the first time I was so jittery because I was like ‘Oh My God I have grown up watching her.’ And today I work so much with Janhvi. They (Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor) are like my babies and it’s just such an amazing feeling.” She also manifested working with Kareena someday. “I was like a young girl when I was watching Jab We Met and I was like Oh My God I have to work with Bebo one day.

When asked to recall the first-ever styling gig that she put together independently, Tanya replied, ‘Sonam in an Anamika Khanna.’ “She was one of the first actors that I have styled and it must’ve been an Anamika look because Sonam and Anamika are so synonymous with each other. So when I started styling Sonam personally, it was one of the first Anamika looks that I did with her. Even today when I look at my work with Sonam, it never feels dated. There’s just something timeless about her. Sometimes I look at my work with different actors that I styled over the years and I am like Oh God, what did I do but with Sonam, Bebo and Freida Pinto, these girls are just so timeless that the way they carry themselves like they are way ahead of their time.”

If given a chance to dress 3 women irrespective of the border, age and time frame, the diva wishes to style Anne Hathaway and Zendaya. “Anne Hathaway. I love her style. Zendaya. She is amazing. And in India, Deepika Padukone, someone I have not worked with.” When asked about picking 3 eternal icons, Tanya replied, “I would love to style Waheeda Rehman, she would be amazing. She is such an eternal beauty. Rekha, who I share a birthday with. My mom was obsessed with Rekha, so I grew up feeling like she is like THE most beautiful woman and Madhubala. On being questioned which male celebrity would she love to style next, Tanya quipped ‘flavour of the season' Aditya Roy Kapur!
