After the record-breaking box office success of Pathaan, all eyes are now on Shah Rukh Khan’s next offering, Jawan. The Atlee Kumar-directed mass action entertainer has been in production for nine months now and is all geared up to hit cinemas worldwide on June 2. Contrary to the speculations about its postponement, the film’s post-production work is in full swing and will arrive in theatres as scheduled.
Peepingmoon.com has learned that Jawan is nearing the completion of its production and will be wrapped up by April 20. "The principal photography will be completed by April 5, and then the team will head to shoot the final two songs. One is a romantic track featuring SRK and Nayanthara, while the other is a mass song that features SRK and Deepika Padukone, who play a special cameo role in this film. Both musical numbers will be filmed between April 7 and April 20 in Mumbai," a source close to the project told us.
With barely two months until release, the team at Red Chillies Entertainment has sped up the film's post-production. The goal is to complete the editing and visual effects work by the middle of May. "It's nothing new; every movie goes through post-production up to the Monday before it opens. Atlee and his crew are sure that they will finish the movie on time and are not skimping on anything. As for the poster or teaser, the producers have prepared a brief marketing campaign that will only begin close to the release date, so the fans will have to wait some more," the source further informed us.
Jawan is a legitimate Pan-India commercial action entertainer with a cast comprising of actors from various film industries, including Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Yogi Babu, Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra, and two special and pivotal cameos by Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt. It’s a hugely mounted, VFX-loaded film packed with jaw-dropping action sequences choreographed by Hollywood stunt directors like Craig Macrae (Mad Max: Fury Road, Avengers: Age of Ultron), Yannick Ben, and India’s Sunil Rodrigues. Watch out for this mass-action film, coming to cinemas on June 2, 2023.
