Aditi Rao Hydari, who beautifully plays the impactful role of Sumitra Kumari in Jubilee, is told 'masses follow male heroes' in Vikramaditya Motwane's Amazon Prime Video show.
In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon's Senior Entertainment Correspondent Rashita Sahni, when asked if she feels we work in a male-dominant industry, Adiit said, "I think the world is a little patriarchal in many ways. It’s changing and I think so women have more agency now. They also demand more agency and I feel somewhere at the end of the day it’s not a men-women thing, it’s really about us doing life together and stories happening together. It is about all of us but I do feel like the audience today is actually king."
Jubilee stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sidhant Gupta, Nandish Sandhu, Ram Kapoor, Shweta Basu Prasad, Arun Govil, Sukhmanee Lamba, Aarya Bhatta, Narottam Bain, Alok Arora and Suhani Popli.
