PeepingMoon Exclusive: Raveena Tandon quips, 'I feel I should have had a better PR machinery'; says 'I don't do social work for cameras or press, want to make a different without overhype'

Raveena Tandon is more than just a reel star; she is an inspiration to millions. While she enjoys an illustrious career comprising diverse roles and genres, the actress is active when it comes to social work. Raveena leaves no stone unturned in returning the abundant love she receives from fans. Off the cameras, she has been actively standing up for women's rights and girl child protection. When she does her bit for society (apart from supporting women & their rights), Raveena does it silently without much media frenzy and overhype.

In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon.com, the actress opened up about being low-key with her social activities. When asked about that one thing she could have done differently in her career, Raveena shared, "Sometimes I do feel I should have had a better PR machinery (laughs). I don’t do things for effect or throw into people’s faces that I did this social activity, donated a certain amount or distributed something during the COVID-19 pandemic, supported these many people, etc. I don’t do it for the cameras or press. I feel people are not aware of the kind of work I do but I don’t do that for people’s attention. I do it to make a difference. I hope my work is recognised organically and not through overhype."

When they took my name, it was nothing but a feeling of pride. At that moment, I was focusing on not being nervous and walking straight (laughs)."

Workwise, Raveena was last seen in K.G.F: Chapter 2. Her upcoming projects include Ghudchadi, Patna Shukla, a web series with Disney+ Hotstar and the second season of Aranyak.
