PeepingMoon Exclusive: 'People believe Hindi filmmakers don't utilise my talent to the fullest & I take that as a compliment,' says Aditi Rao Hydari

Aditi Rao Hydari is a bundle of talent and there's no denial. She yet again proved to be the best of our times with her incredible performance as Sumitra Devi in Vikramaditya Motwane's series Jubilee. The actress has been working in the Hindi film fraternity for over 10 years and fans are craving more. Some believe not all Hindi directors and producers have utilised Aditi's talent to the fullest. Reacting to the same, she told PeepingMoon.com in an exclusive interview that she takes this as a compliment.

In the exclusive interview, Aditi said, "I think only directors and producers can answer this. The onus is on them, not me. Even in Jubilee, Srikant Roy's character is shown to nurture talent and he signs a lab assistant as Madan Kumar. When it's about films, the directors and producers are the ones to nurture talent. Having said so, I believe I have worked with the best filmmakers in Hindi and the South as well. I am aware that people believe my full potential is yet to be explored in Hindi and I take that as a compliment."

She added, "I am a hungry actor; always ready for a challenge. It is very important for me to be on a set with a director I respect. It doesn't matter whether he/she is a legendary or a first-time or new filmmaker. All that matters to me is their vision, their ability to nurture me as an actor, and their conviction in the story. This is what drives me,"

Aditi then quipped, "You should ask producers and filmmakers what's their problem (laughs)."
