Ananya Panday is enjoying the sweet fruits of hard work as her recently released Netflix film, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, brought critical acclaim to her performance. She played the role of Ahana, a marketing genius, who navigates through the highs and lows of life with her friends. Directed by Arjun Varain Singh, the film explores the cons of excessive dependence on social media. Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav were seen in the roles of Imaad and Neil. Kho Gaye Hum Kahan orbitted around these three childhood friends. 

In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon, Ananya revealed who are the real-life Imaad and Neil for her. The actress named her childhood friends, Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor. Ananya said, "My real-life Imaad and Neil are Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor. I have grown up with them like Ahana grew up with Imaad and Neil. Though I cannot tell who's Imaad and who's Neil (laughs). Maybe I'm not even Ahana in this trio. But yeah, they're my Imaad and Neil."

Ananya, Suhana and Shanaya have been best friends since childhood and dreamt of becoming actors together. While Ananya is an established name, Suhana made her debut with the Netflix film, The Archies, in 2023. Shanaya is going to make her debut with Mohanlal's multilingual ensemble film, Vrushabha.
