Ankita Lokhande was among the most popular contestants on Bigg Boss 17. She had a roller coaster journey on the show hosted by Salman Khan. From friendships, and arguments to fights with her husband Vicky Jain, the actress went through various highs and lows. Fans also noticed that Ankita would often remember the happy moments from her relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput. Some felt that she missed his presence and the love and support he could offer to her.
In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon, Ankita dismissed the same and said she spoke about Sushant to share his story with youngsters in the Bigg Boss 17 house. The actress further shared that she wasn't seeking her Pavitra Rishta co-star's support as she received that from Vicky. Sushant passed away in 2020.
"No, I got that support from Vicky. Absolutely. So, there was no need. I was not expecting any kind of thing from Sushant ki agar voh hota; aisa kuch nahi hai. But of course, I've shared a very beautiful time with him. So I was just sharing those things with whosoever used to talk about Sushant. It was never me who took out the topic or I wanted to talk. No. But if I have something to share, because he has inspired me as a person because they were youngsters, there were a lot of people who wanted to know about Sushant, and I was that one source there. So I wanted to tell them what kind of a person Sushant was and what was his story, and that's it."
Ankita ended her Bigg Boss 17 journey as the third runner-up.
