Nora Fatehi is among the few actresses who has entertained her audience through multiple mediums. Be it films, dances, television, or even South cinema, she expanded her horizons since the beginning of her career. Do you remember watching her in SS Rajamouli's Bahubali? Nora was the center of attraction along with Prabhas in the song, Manohari. In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon, the actress revealed how she made it to the sets of the pan-India blockbuster in the initial stages of her career.
Nora told us, "When I came to India, initially I started doing films first. My first film was in 2014 called Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans where I played a commando followed up by a Prakash Jha comedy film and then I did a film with Sanjay Suri and these films weren't working out for me. It wasn't giving me what I wanted- commercial success. I went down South and started doing songs. My first song in the South was a really big one and made me extremely popular in the South. It was a film called Temper."
She credited Bahubali for getting her inside Bigg Boss 9's house which gave her household recognition. "They were really keen to put me in every song. So, I ended up doing every song. I learned so much on sets and started to enhance my dance skills via these experiences. The third or fourth song was Bahubali. That's when I got approached. I immediately said yes and at that time, I was shooting for another song back-to-back and I entered the sets of Bahubali and it was a 6-day shoot. It was one of the best experiences I had on set, especially shooting a song. That's how Bahubali happened and then Bigg Boss happened because of that. Everything led to something in my career."
Workwise, Nora was last seen in Kunal Kemmu's directorial debut, Madgaon Express.
