Radhikka Madan is basking in praise for his latest movie Sarfira where she sheared the screen with Akshay Kumar. In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon the talented actress shared her experience of working with the star. The actress who played the role of Rani, wife of Vir Mhatre (played by Kumar), says he is very grounded and makes people around him comfortable. She even calls him one of the best comedy actors in Bollywood. 

Speaking to PeepingMoon, Radhikka said, “He doesn't come with that superstar air around him. He's very grounded, very precious, makes people feel comfortable around him and I think that's the reason, you know, you're able to perform uninhibitedly in front of him. And it was amazing.”

She further added, “I remember his spree of comedy films Hera Pheri, Awara Pagal Deewana, Deewane Hue Pagal, De Dana Dan. I remember watching all of those movies. I used to love him like how and he's such a good, you know he's one of the best actors in the comedy genres especially. His comic timing is impeccable. So I remember, watching those movies and remembering those dialogues.”

On being asked if she ever dreamt of working with him Akshay Kumar, she responded, “Not at all. I never dreamt of being here, I never dreamt of being an actor or my films coming on the big screen. So every every time I watch myself on the big screen, I just tear up. Main Pritampura ki ladki hu yaar, mera koi parivaar nahi tha yaha pe, Bombay me mere koi ristedaar bhi nahi hai. You just come and see yourself be there with people who you admire. It's an overwhelming feeling. I usually attend the first screening with my parents. So whenever I am hiding my tears I look to the left my mom is crying and my dad is crying all three of us keep crying when my name comes on the big screen.”

Radhikka Madan is looking forward to a promising career ahead in Bollywood. Next in the pipeline, she has Rumi Ki Sharafat her 5th movie with Maddock Films.
