It's lights, camera, and action once again for Imran Khan as the actor begins filming his official comeback project, nearly a decade after his last big-screen appearance. The ‘Delhi Belly’ actor is back on set for a Netflix film directed by Danish Aslam, best known for helming Khan and Deepika Padukone’s 2010 rom-com, ‘Break Ke Baad.’
While shooting for this project commenced on Saturday in Mumbai, we have now learned that the film has been titled ‘Adhure Hum Adhure Tum.’ This quirky and playful title perfectly aligns with the tone of the film, described as a dysfunctional romantic dramedy, blending humor, heart, and relatable chaos in a way that echoes the roles that made Khan a household name in films like ‘Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na,’ ‘EK Main Aur Ekk Tu,’ ‘I Hate Luv Storys,’ ‘Break Ke Baad,’ and ‘Delhi Belly.’
Bhumi Pednekar plays the leading lady, while ‘Class’ fame Gurfateh Pirzada also features in a prominent role. Produced by Imran Khan and Danish Aslam, in partnership with Open Air Films, a content company behind Netflix projects like ‘Leila’ and ‘Cobalt Blue,’ this film promises a refreshing yet nostalgic revisit to the kind of breezy entertainers that defined Khan’s career in the early 2010s. The film is slated to wrap production by July and premiere on Netflix India in early 2026.
