Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi started the trend. Then there were Rohan Mehra and Kanchi Singh getting serious. Now reports that Rishi Dev and Mohena Kumari (Naksh and Kirti) are dating has taken the internet by storm.
Reports are that the actors spend good amount of time with each other and were inseparable even when the cameras weren't rolling. And while Rishi and Mohena have not admitted to their relationship in public, it is understood that they have beyond being friends.
When contacted by PeepingMoon.com, Rishi strongly refuted the rumours. "There is absolutely no truth to these reports. I don't know how to react. This is by far the funniest thing I have heard about myself," said Rishi. "Yes, I won't deny that Mohena is a good friend and is special, but why just categorize her? All my co-stars are extremely special. Being a Punjabi, I am loud and an extrovert when it comes to friendship. Probably this is what makes people link Mohena and me. But sadly for them, there is no truth to this news."
Rishi further said, "The kind of person that I am, I will definitely come across loud if I am in a relationship ever. I won't hide it from my fans. But having said that, I do not want my personal life to gain publicity and overpower my professional life. I want to be in news for my work and not my private life. Let my work do the talking."
And how did Mohena react to these reports? "Oh, both Mohena and I were laughing out loud and did not know how to react,” Rishi revealed. “Initially, not many know, we were like our characters – introverts even off the camera. We hardly conversed. But with time, we grew to become good friends and now get along really well. Why can’t co-stars of opposite genders be good friends? Is it necessary to link us up? I don't understand this logic," added Rishi, denying gossip mongers any fodder from the popular YRKKH show.
