The tony residents of Interface Heights on Link Road in Malad west have been having an unexpected but cute guest quietly turn up at their in-house Navratri celebrations most nights. She’s shy of doing the garba and the dandiya. And she’s there for a short while only. But she’s the cynosure of all eyes and quite the big star of the celebrations.
Now PeepingMoon.com sources have been told on authority by Interface residents that this new resident is the adopted baby daughter of TV superstar and Bollywood actress Sakshi Tanwar. If this news is indeed true, then we are delighted for Sakshi. She’s been a favourite of the small screen since her debut with Albela Sur Mela in 1998 and this news only makes her popularity soar.
Sakshi, whose Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Bade Achhe Lagte Hai have been hot prime time shows on TV, is happily single at 45. “I haven’t found anyone I want to marry,” the gorgeous actress told the media when it was suspected that she had secretly married a businessman. But being single is no reason not to adopt, as the lovely Sushmita Sen let the world know long ago.
Perhaps Sakshi took the step after she became an ambassador for the Government of India’s Central Adoption Resource Authority recently. In a campaign, Sakshi is seen playing with little children and advising people not to go to nursing homes, hospitals and maternity homes if they want to adopt because this is illegal. “The right way to go about it is to approach CARA,” Sakshi says. Is it that she took her own advice? Looks like, and her baby daughter made her public debut at the grand Navratri celebrations!
