DisHul aka Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya tied the knot on July 16 in a grand ceremony. The wedding took place according to Vedic rituals and it was attended by family members and some selected friends. Aly Goni was one of them. The Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actor played the role of ladkewala to the T and shared glimpses of the wedding on his Instagram stories. Making memories, Aly seemed to be the happiest person around. The actor met the singer in the Bigg Boss 14 house and bonded well. Fans gave them the name, 'RaLy'. 

As Rahul and Disha started a new chapter with a larger-than-life wedding ceremony, PeepingMoon.com got in touch with dulhe ka best friend Aly for a fun interview. Talking to us, Aly, who was given the responsibility of guarding Rahul's jootis, revealed what happened during the joota chupayi ceremony. The actor also spoke about the most emotional moment of the wedding.

When did you get to know that Disha and Rahul are getting married? 

We knew that they are getting married for quite some time. When we got to know, I couldn't hold back my happiness and was excited for them. 

It must have been an emotional moment to see them tie the knot...

I was super happy and excited. Rahul and Disha were eagerly waiting for their day. Tying the knot with someone you love is a different feeling altogether. I am happy that I could witness their wedding in person.

You were given the responsibility of guarding Rahul’s jootis. Can you share what happened during the joota chupayi ceremony?

Joota chupayi ceremony was a lot of fun. I was tasked to keep Rahul’s jootis safe and I kept them in a secret place. However, one of Rahul's friends asked me about his jootis. I thought he'll keep them guarded and revealed the secret place. But, he went on to reveal it to Disha's friend. It was fun! Actually, all the rituals were fun and we all enjoyed them.

The most overwhelming moment for me was when he went down on one knee to exchange the ring with Disha. The happiness and excitement on their faces were so magical and radiant; it is unexplainable. 

Any message for the newlyweds? 

Rahul and Disha are made for each other. Inside the Bigg Boss 14 house, Rahul and I used to talk about our lives, our future, etc. I always knew they are the perfect match and I wish them all the happiness and joy in life.
