After all the madness in Paris, with Haute Couture Week, followed by Lakme Fashion Week in India, it was only a matter of time New York Fashion Week was upon us. Taking place in the city of dreams, this is one Fashion Week we all had been looking forward too! Now nothing can beat sitting front row and going live from all our social-media handles but nevertheless, our masters degree in stalking comes to good use.
If you've been too busy, with whatever it is your doing, and barely got any time on your hands to go through all the past seven days of madness, at NYFW, here are our top four highlights from New York Fashion Week.
Nail Art Gone Haywire
If you were wondering where the ladies at PeepingMoon went missing? Hello, busy gawking at this over-the-top out worldly nail art. Libertine, is known for bringing the house down by throwing one hell of a party. Not only did they stun the fashion gods with their helluva collection but also with their feathered fringed nails, that dangled right down to the floor. Any thoughts?
Claw Clips
Thanks to Alexander Wang, the 90's banana clips are back. Claw clips, banana clips or jaw clips, whatever it is you call them, this accessory used by us as teenagers is making a grand entry. If you, like us, had stalked these clips in all possible colors, then this piece of news should be nothing but soothing to ears.

The 10-year-old drag kid makes his catwalk debut for Gypsy Sport's. The brand which is famous for stringing in trans activists, pregnant women and so on, has done it again. Desmond Napoles, a 10-year-old LGBT+ activist and self-professed “drag kid" strutted down the runway, which was cheered with a lot of whistles, cheers and of course, boomerangs!
The 5-month-old Superstar
Yes, you heard that right. This year's shining star at NYFW is none other than five-month-old kid name Zola. The cute munchkin carried by father Geroge Okeny was literally the highlight on Day one, at the Collinda Strada runway. Models, it's time to buckle up cause not just star-kids but also babies are on the rise!
