Kareena-Nimrat-Diana: Celebrity Approved Ways To Go Desi

Let's hear it for our Tinseltown ladies, who've been painting the town red in their high-fashion traditional outfits. And three such beauties who caught our eye at Anaita Shroff Adajania's son's Navjote event were Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nimrat Kaur and Diana Penty. The fashionista's who were in attendance at this star-studded event stepped out in their good ol' traditional outfits.

Bollywood's Begum, Kareena Kapoor Khan, took our breath away in a classic Simar Dugal outfit. Taimur's yummy mummy looked drop-dead-gorgeous in a mint and gold embroidered anarkali. Bebo kept it chic and elegant by pairing this royal look with over-sized gold beaded earrings. The polka pattern dupatta and gold chandbaalis were the stand-out elements in this outfit. Kohled eyes, voluminous lashes and sleek tied back pony completed her glam-bam look.

Another fashionista who made desi 'werk' was Nimrat Kaur. She stepped out in a 'phresh' off the runway Anushree Reddy design. She paired her heavily embellished sheer saree with a matching blouse. Styled by Tanya Ghavri, the 'Test Case' actor was all smiles, posing for the shutterbugs. Dangly silver earrings and gold clutch accentuated her desi attire perfectly.

If heavy embellishments and sparkly borders is not your thing, opt for the Diana Penty route. The petite diva was spotted in a pastel pink Saree with delicate lacework all over it. From the subtle and soft hue to the ruffled blouse detailing, this look had elegance written all over it. Styled by Sanjana Batra, Diana was the epitome of elegance. Hair pulled back in a bun, pearl beaded studs and a box clutch completed this look.
