Moonwalk: Alia-Banita Score twice; Arjun makes an impression while Kiara fails

The weekend is here, boosting our spirits yet again. Why you ask?... Because it's time for the weekly sartorial breakdown! We saw a lot of great looks, be it full glam, laid-back or comfortable tracks. Some stars hit the bull's eye while some lived to disappoint. PeepingMoon.com brings to you your weekly breakdown of all the hits and misses this week. Don't worry, we got you covered!

Of summer days

Alia Bhatt makes a comeback on our charts this week with not one, but two beautiful looks. Alia wore an Anita Dongre creation for her first day of promotions for her upcoming, Raazi. Styled by Ami Patel, the actress paired her dress with some delicate jewelry from Azotique. Summer styling redefined, we just can't have enough of this beaut!

Just yesterday, the actress wore a Giambattista Valli, Paris dress for her promotions at the Dharma Office, looking the perfect cute-girl-next-door. We concur Stylist Ami Patel, Makeup Artist Puneet Saini and Hairstylist Priyanka Borkar are definitely the dream team we aim to have.

With the promotions of Raazi in full swing, we're expecting a lot more from this young superstar in the coming weeks. Can't wait for more of such dreamy looks!

new girl in the city

October's, Banita Sandhu is the 'it' girl of tinsel town these days. From her good looks to her confidence to her debut performance in the film, the praises just don't stop! Sartorially too, we have to say, well-done gurl!

With October promotions at its peak up until last week, the debutante gave us 2 major drool-worthy looks. She wore a Mulberry, England skirt-top set with big loop earrings, nude sandals and a neat updo. With the summer heat burning up, we sure need this sort of an inspiration.

For the screening of October, she wore a Beach City Fashion's white shirt which she paired with a polka dotted skirt that held a thigh-high slit. With a delicate neckpiece, red clutch and black heels, the actress looked nothing feminine yet badass. Well, this is the sorta vibe we'd kill for!

Take a bow, Banita...You did well!

Glamour away

Shilpa Shetty is the epitome of glamorous one can achieve. The actress gives us major #ootd inspiration when she stepped out wearing a red-bespoke Aroka gown for the clothing brand's event. The actress looked sexy in the gown that had an off-shoulder element and thigh-high slit adding to its drama. We're in awe!

The actress was seen at a brand event earlier this week wearing a white Massimo Dutti top paired with a yellow Jacquemus skirt looking the perfect muse for summer couture. Stylist Mohit Rai paired this look with Kurt Geiger shoes and Swarovski jewelry making it an effortless look with all the right elements.

Well, all we have to say is that our dearest Shilpa has still got it!

Spring runaway

Amruta Khanvilkar has set some serious spring fashion goals. The actress opted for two monochrome looks that were stylish, contemporary and yet, chic! She opted for a short hot-red dress with a slick ponytail and muted glam for Majja Digital Awards, where she won the Face of the Year title.

Earlier this week the actress sported a Nitara Dharaj Label Romper with a bow detail. She let the monochrome theme going by pairing the look with nude brown heels and minimum makeup. What we would've loved here is a little more accessorizing. But kudos to Stylist Neha Chaudhary for catching the essence right not once but twice!

First Impressions

Arjun Kapoor is killing us with this high-street fashion combo! The actor sported a Burberry sweater with a Paul Smith jacket and Loubotins. To add it up, he donned Dolce & Gabanna sunnies and a lot of confidence as he carried the look with utter charm. Our ovaries can't contain it, what about you?

Saree is the key

Well they say, a saree is never out of fashion. Well, Kareena Kapoor makes us believe why it's true! The actress sported a House of Masaba saree paired with Shri Ram Hari Ram Jewelry. Stylist Tanya Ghavri accesorized it just right by letting the vibrant saree do all the talking. This look is evergreen for sure, and so is our Bebo!

of nudes and all

Who says nude colors are dull? Who says nude colors can't be worn alone? We have Kangana Ranaut breaking stereotypes yet again as she wore this brilliant-but-nude Neeta Lulla ensemble at the label's store launch in Delhi. She paired it with nude makeup and nude heels and we applaud her for giving us this masterpiece. This definitely hits the right notes with us! You have our heart, Kangana!

Monochrome, yet again

Shruti Haasan stars on our sartorial charts this week. The actress opted for this skirt-blouse set by Jayanti Reddy label. Styled by Shreeja Rajgopal, the actress paired her outfit with jewelry by Varnika Arora and Aldo shoes. We love how in sync the look is, but we still feel the spark is missing. Well, it was good to have you Shruti, but better luck next time! XOXO

Kimono or bathrobe?

Kiara Advani, who usually scores brilliantly on our charts, had a major miss this week. The actress was seen at the Airport wearing a Mahima Mahajan trench dress which just didn't work for us. Well, try again Kiara, but it's a big 'NO' from us this time.

Too frilly for you

Tanisha Mukerjee was seen this week wearing an Aroka Official ensemble and honestly, we're not the biggest fans of this look. Opposed to Shilpa Shetty, Tanisha looked more than just drab at the Label's store launch. Having lost some weight, Tanisha sure looked fitter but the outfit didn't do much for her. Sorry Tanisha, but it's just not working out!
