The Cannes International Film Festival witnessed the most glamorous stars ace their fashion game as they walk the prestigious red carpet. In her second year in a row, it seemed our Indian beauty Deepika Padukone was on a mission to make your jaws drop by putting her best foot forward at Cannes Film Festival this year. Her sartorial statement in the Utopian French town is making all the right noise.
Deepika kicked off the first day by keeping it cool and casual in a white tee and denim, it made us wonder if the Padmaavat actress is trying to play safe. But she proved us wrong when she slipped into in a sheer white dress by Zuhair Murad and had everyone’s tongues wagging. On the second day too, Deepika again made a simple white tee and denim look fabulous but soon after stunned us by opting for a violet pantsuit with a full sleeved purple blazer and bell bottom pants.
DP also did a ‘Rihanna’ by choosing a gold dress by Alberta Ferretti that made her look anything but sensual. She rounded off her stint at Cannes this year by attending the Chopard party in an all-black attire from Marcell Von Berlin. As we give brownie points to her stylist Shaleena Nathani, let’s decode Deepika’s looks at Cannes this year:
