Netherlands celebrate 25 years of Viktor & Rolf

The luxury fashion brand, Viktor & Rold are the trendsetters of performative fashion. The journey of Viktor Horsting and Raff Snoeren began 25 years ago and Kunsthal museum in Rotterdam, Netherland is setting up a grand exhibition, showcasing the best works of the designers. This exhibition will be curated by the very talented, Thierry Maxime Loriot.

This exhibition titled, 'Viktor & Rolf: Fashion artists 25 years', will show the radical conception of wearable art, a signature of the design duo. The exhibition aims to explore what makes their designs unique in the contemporary fashion world.

Viktor & Rolf have always perceived fashion as borderless, where art and fashion have mingled beautifully together. They brought in imperfection to Haute Couture. The collections have always been conceptual and avant-garde and their shows are performative and theatrical. Their shows make us wonder- Is Fashion Art? They blend concept and craft so beautifully. The concepts are mostly a surrealist commentary on the happenings of the world or a state of mind of the designers.
