For those who are caught unaware, Surbhi had already worked in a few Punjabi films including, Ik Kudi Punjab Di, Raula Pai Gaya and Munde Patiala De. But there was no looking back after she played a progressive Muslim woman Zoya Farooqui in Qubool Hai opposite Karan Singh Grover.

Surbhi further gained popularity after working in shows like in shows like Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. She then starred in web series Tanhaiyaan opposite her former co-star Barun Sobhti. Now, she is all set to make her television comeback and replace Mouni Roy in the popular show, Naagin. Surbhi will feature alongside Anita Hassanandani and Karishma Tanna on the third season of the show, which commences of June 2.
