Wow, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone! Just wow! The newlyweds hosted a reception at The Grand Hyatt in Mumbai on November 28 and made a royal appearance as Ranveer and Deepika made pictures of them available on social media. For the event, Ranveer and Deepika colour-coordinated in white - she wore a georgette saree in shades of gold and ivory with chikankari work embellished with antique gold highlights and zari – designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
As far as jewellery is concerned, Deepika accessorized her look with pearl and diamond chaandbaalis along with an elaborate polki neckpiece; chooras and sindoor made her look delightful as a new bride. Make-up was simple while we loved her floor-length veil set in gold zardosi.
Ranveer, on the other hand, wore a Rohit Bal ensemble – a long kurta with gold zari karigari paired with a dhoti of sorts and a shawl adorned with paisleys and motifs as such.
Gorgeous is the word!

This is the second reception that Deepika and Ranveer hosted after the event at her hometown Bengaluru.
Deepika and Ranveer married according to Konkani and North Indian rituals in Italy. The Konkani wedding was held on November 14 and the North Indian wedding, on November 15. The wedding was a private affair as only 40 guests were reportedly invited.
