Moonwalk: Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is our boss babe of the week, students Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria perform poorly in the fashion test

Saturday is here and so are we! Greetings from the Peeping Moon’s Moonwalk segment. Looks like this week we were in for a sartorial treat from our B-town celebrities as maximum folks managed to pull off looks we couldn’t get enough of but then there were some who were…meh!

So without further ado, here’s a quick flashback of the week gone by as to who nailed and failed in the fashion parade.

ELEGANT IN ETHNICS - RANVEER SINGH

This man has made to our list for the second time in a row! Ranveer is bragging the first spot with his effortlessly sexy looks and ethnic charm. Suave in Shantanu & Nikhil kurta with their trademark pleated bottoms, Khilji scored the #1 place on the list. Styled by stylist Nitasha Gaurav, Ranveer hit the bull’s eye on this week’s charts.

Will there be a hat-trick for the next week?

THE BOSS BABE- SONAM KAPOOR AHUJA

Okay let’s settle this once and for all, Sonam breathes fashion. Suited up in Altuzurra blazers and trousers with a vintage Ralph Lauren belt to go with it, Sonam defined all things love. We could literally hear the boots in the picture making noise! Also, a special mention to the Rs 18 lakh worth Birkin. Bollywood divas and their bag fetish, eh?

With Cannes 2019 a fortnight away, we're glued to all things Sonam is going to belt out!

BRINGING THE SEXY ’BACK’- VAANI KAPOOR

Needless to say, Vaani looked absolutely stunning dressed in Gauri & Nainika. Flaunting her sexy back and thigh-high slits, she left little to the imagination. Styled by Mohit Rai, she the hot red did wonders to her svelte frame, soft waves and nude lips.

Bookmark this for a cocktail night over the weekend!

SAREE ME GOOD - JANHVI KAPOOR

Draped elegantly in Manish Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor was a pure treat for the eyes. This elegant pink saree with an antique zari border definitely worked wonders for this beauty. A statement neckpiece from Amrapali, hair tied in a loose ponytail and barely-there makeup, with the help of stylist Tanya Ghavri, Janhvi has earned her place in this week’s Moonwalk list.

Elegance ain't defined by age....

SERENE IN SAREE- DEEPIKA PADUKONE

Take cues from Deepika Padukone to nail a summer festive look like a diva. Draped in Rohit Bal saree, she was a vision in white as she attended her cousin's wedding. Grace, poise and finesse, she ticked all the right boxes with this one. Those jhumkis and red gajra has made to out this week's fav accessories list!

With that blouse enhancing her sexy back, Deepika gave another stellar look to take notes from!

THE K-HARISMATIC - KARISMA KAPOOR

Looks like sarees are in for the season. Styled by Eshaa Amiin, Karisma was all things uber cool and ultra-stylish in this contemporary drape by Satya Paul. Advocating #sareeiscool, Karisma paired her six yards with a tan coat and a sleek belt.

We love the fact how saree isn’t now just restricted to six yards and you can explore it as a concept furthermore

SUIT UP- FATIMA SANA SHAIKH

Decked up in Khanijo, Dangal girl Fatima Sana Shaikh was a stunner indeed. Styled by Ami Patel, she managed to steal hearts and thunders in this all-black power suit paired with silver heels.

With a stunning red pout and curls on fleek, the look made the cut

While the above tinsel town divas and dapper dude earned the brownie points for the week, there were some who missed the mark.

THE SOTY GIRLS – ANANYA PANDAY AND TARA SUTARIA

Looks like our 'students' of the year divas, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria need some serious fashion classes.

While Tara failed to explore her indo-western outfit by Arpita Mehta, Ananya’s casual T-shirt dress by Nandita Mahtani didn’t seem to make any point.

With loud colours gone wrong and a sheer bland outfit, students of St.Teresa have not scored an A.

Our SOTY girls didn’t pass out with flying colours!

BLAST FROM THE PAST – ADITI RAO HYDARI

Well, Aditi Rao Hydari and Neha Dhupia are no new names for the moonwalk. Last time they were on our list, it wasn’t for a specific right reason.

Styled by Sanam Ratansi, Aditi was a ravishing vision to behold in an off-shouldered Tarun Tahiliani jumpsuit.

Aditi did manage to redeem herself this time, and we are not complaining!

LAYER ME OR NOT - NEHA DHUPIA

We have some mixed feelings about Neha’s saree fusion by Payal Khandwala. Be it the layers of colours or the shirt blouse, we are not quite sure if we like it

How we are missing our feisty Neha back with new looks and styles!

PANSIE PASTELS – AMRITA RAO

With the chikankari saree from the Talking threads, an outdated sheer sleeve blouse and a colour which did no justice to her, Amrita failed to impress us.
