Gucci is back with their Cruise Collection and we think we've been waiting since a while for this! After their tailoring campaign, the buzz around their 'influencing with fashion' deeds have been endlessly highlighted and we 600% support this revolution.
The label showcased their latest collection at the Capitoline Museum in Rome and we're really ecstatic about this special showcase. Giving an ode to yesteryear Rome, the collection featured many takeaways from the ancient culture.
From draped gowns to wrapped drapes, we saw it all at the runway...well, barely, given the torches at intervals were our only source of light.
Empowering freedom of expression yet again, Alessandro focused on a lot of aspects, including women's reproduction rights, in his current collection.
Slogans like 'My body, my choice' and ' 22.05.1978' ( the day when abortion got legalized in Italy) were printed in bold fonts and hues on their silhouettes.
Floral antiques in the shape of a uterus were also seen on one of the gowns.
Keeping the 'Gucci' element intact, we also saw a lot of popping hues, prints and graphology on their ensembles.
Ornate embroidery, chunky jewelry was also seen amongst the other elements.

Revolution is here, what are your thoughts?
