Red is the colour of the season for India’s lucky charm Zoya a.k.a Sonam Kapoor Ahuja who is giving us a heavy sartorial dose while promoting The Zoya Factor. She has been going all out for her film’s promotion by flaunting all possible shades of are and we for one, are not complaining!
Infusing her lucky colour red into her style game, Sonam has given us some noteworthy looks to sink our teeth into, courtesy stylist Rhea Kapoor.
RULING THE RED
Sonam brought in the big guns with her red suits, which were too good to miss…
This long trench suit from The Row, pointy red boots and a quirky leather bag from Manu Atelier made us scream boss bae. Keeping the glam under check, Sonam opted for muted hues and a classic bun.
Another stellar suited look! This red hot suit from Akris worked its wonder on our beaut. While Valentino boots and a Prada bag complemented her scarlet number, jewels from Amaris added a subtle hint of bling to her attire. A radiant glam and a pinned up hairdo added finished off her look.
Sonam cut out a ravishing picture dressed head to toe in Valentino. Oh, the vintage feels!
Channelling royalty in this red suit from Escada and Manolo Blahnik shoes, she looked nothing less than a boss bae! In love with her sexy bag…
RED AND RAD
Ooh-la-la. This Petar Petrov number flaunted by Sonam should have a separate fan base. Pairing her asymmetrical red shirt and leather wrap pants with a Manu Atelier bag and chic knee-high boots, she took our breath away. Winged eyes, tousled curls, and a luscious nude pout added finishing touches to this masterpiece.
LAAL CHADHI MAIDAN KHADI
We are awestruck by this desi red DIY look from our beloved Zoya. Her statement-making ethnic number from Gulabo by Abu Sandeep paired with juttis from Pastels and Pop blends simplicity and class perfectly. The stitched potli bag, golden gotta-patti work and flair-y palazzo pants, what’s not to like about this one? Heavy danglers and a bracelet Satyani Fine Jewels were the only accessories she needed to compliment her outfit. Kapoor-Ahuja rounded off her look with a subtle glam and a braided hairdo.
Here are some more desi looks that our Kapoor fashionista flaunted…
Taking us back to her Delhi 6 times, Masakali Sonam painted an elegant picture with her printed dress from Rajesh Pratap Singh. She paired her anarkali with a printed jacket and a checkered dupatta. Accessories from Apala and Amrapali added an indie element to her look. With winged eyes, soft glam and a pretty braid, she took our breath away.
For another round of promotions, Sonam channelled ethnicity in this delicately detailed anarkali and palazzo pants from Sue Mue. A statement-making choker from Sunita Kapoor added on to the bling affair of her outfit. Understated glam and a braided hairdo completed her look.
CRIMSON CHIC
Red hot saree paired with a sexy zipper blouse…are you trying to kill us, Sonam? This deconstructed biker saree from Rishta by Arjun Saluja was a fresh take on the modern drape. Statement silver earrings from Apala added a dash of glamour to her modern-day saree. She added finishing touches to her look with muted glam and a neatly tied bun.
Another stellar saree look! Sonam kept it subtle yet efficient with her drape from Anavila. Pairing a jacket with her saree, Sonam embraced the six-yard with a twist. Delicate accessories from Amrapali gave a serene touch to her look. Detailed, kohl-rimmed eyes, a nude pout and a mid-parted classic bun gave justice to her beauty.
A brownie point for that detailed hairdo!
GO RED OR GO HOME
This Vedikam lehenga sported by our fashionista is a must-have in every bride-to-be’s wardrobe. Absolutely loved the back detailing of her choli. She paired her floral number with jewels from Olio and Clove. Shimmery brown eyes, nude put and wavy curls added glamour to her look.
THE RED RIDING HOOD
These chic denim co-ords from the label Notebook were something fresh to look at. The cape detailing on the pants was surely the highlight of her attire. A chic Anqi bag and gold hoops accentuated her outfit. Keeping the glam under check, Sonam opted for a classy bun to finish her look.
THE RED CHERRY
Keeping the element of red intact, Sonam opted for a printed Gucci suit paired with a popping red Christian Louboutin heels. Blings from Gehna and Jet Gems added on to the glam affair of her look. With winged eyes, pink out and a bow-detailed hairdo, she looked absolutely adorable.
Red, Rad and Ravishing! Sonam knows how to nail the reds perfectly. What do you think?
