Well, hello our beloved Peepingmoon readers from the other side of the screen. This week’s Moonwalk is all about glamour as our tinsel town celebrities are sartorially unstoppable! From Malaika Arora’s birthday celebrations to Jio MAMI Film Festival’s closing ceremony, this week’s fashion list is one hell of a sartorial ride!
Missed the deets? Check it right here as we dissect the looks for you, one by one!
MALAIKA ARORA
Who better than birthday girl to start our fashion charts with a bang! Malla’s blingy birthday dress by Manish Malhotra was all things sultry and sexy! She paired her deep plunge, low back dress with pointy metallic pumps. With a radiant glam and poker-straight hairdo, she looked birthday ready!
46 and stunning!
SONAM KAPOOR AHUJA
Sonam gave us not one but 4 back to back looks and we are already out of our breath!
Styled by Rhea Kapoor, Sonam was a treat to the sore eyes dressed head to toe in Chole. The pleated top, the buttoned-down flared skirt…everything was just so good about her look!
From bossy to desi, Sonam looked like a divine goddess in this pristine white number from Sharon Wauchob. The risqué plunge with beaded details, the satin blazer, and surreal kurta-palazzo; every detail in this ensemble is in symphony! The statement-making choker and earrings from Sunita Kapoor added to the regality of her look. We have our eyes on her sleek gold pumps.
Here’s another desi look from our Kapoor fashionista draped in a serene Sabyasachi saree. We loved her buttoned blouse and a tasselled pallu.
While we were absolutely stunned by these 3 looks…
This one was a tad bit downer. The headgear did not give justice to her beauty and the prints on her outfit weren’t that stunning either.
Palette of looks!
TARA SUTARIA
Tara added on to the bling affair of the party with her sequined number from the label I Love Pretty. She teamed up her encrusted strappy number with an oversized blazer that gave a nice contrast to her bling element. However, we wish she could have opted for bold lips to go with her stunning outfit.
Glam bam!
JANHVI KAPOOR
Two words- effortlessly sexy! We are sure Janhvi made some heads turn with her blingy little dress and furry heels! This outfit would definitely go down in our fashion archives as a fuss-free hot look!
Hey, gorgeous!
TAAPSEE PANNU
Ladies, if you want to give your traditional outfit a modern twist, let Taapsee be your guide! This heavily embellished dress from label Saroj Jalan is perfect for all the fashionistas out there who want to take the western route this festive season. Pannu opted for a minimal glam and tied hairdo to let her outfit shine.
Traditional and trendy!
KARAN JOHAR
Nothing here, just Karan and his rad look taking our sartorial list by the storm! The sheer jacket, those spunky shoes, the vintage rings…just too much hotness.

SONAKSHI SINHA
Styled by Mohit Rai Sonakshi worked the power of mighty whiteys with 2 looks:
This Aadnevik number looked sensuous on our beaut. For the unversed, this is the same gown that Malaika wore at the Vogue Beauty Awards some time ago.
Sona looked absolutely sensational in this cape saree from Mala & Kinnary. Winged eyes, pink out and a gajra braided bun added finishing touches to her beauty.
All white, everything!
SHILPA SHETTY KUNDRA
Shilpa brought shimmers and sequins to Malla’s birthday bash and our list with her sparkly number from Forever Unique paired with strappy Jimmy Choo heels. Well, to be honest, this is nothing new for our diva as she has aced outfits like these before.
Bling-a-ling!
KAREENA KAPOOR KHAN
The Pataudi Begum made an appearance at the bash wearing a leather skirt from H&M paired with a striped top. Those neon pumps gave a nice contrast to her monochrome attire. Kareena opted for her signature nude glam and beach wave curls to round off her look. Tbh, we expected a little more from this beaut as she could nail any given look.
Monochrome muse
RAJKUMMAR RAO AND PATRALEKHA
Lovebirds Raj and Patra arrived at the soiree looking a power couple that they truly are. Raj looked suave in his plaid suit and complemented Patra’s ravishing red dress.
Power couple
NATASHA POONAWALLA
Natasha’s unconventional looked as the bash was indeed a topic of debate as some liked it while some didn’t. Styled by Nikhil Mansata, Natasha opted for a pleated, textured Gucci dress which she teamed up with a pair of net stockings and extravagant golden heels. Chunky earrings, wild curls and subtle glam completed her look.
Oh, but we sure loved this Alexander McQueen number!
A for the effort!
DEEPIKA PADUKONE
For the closing ceremony of MAMI Film Festival, Deepika opted for a ruffled bodysuit by Gauri&Nainika that featured a cape detailing. Although given how she dressed for the opening ceremony, this one was a tad bit downer. Given her ability to carry any couture with finesse and ease, we feel she should have tried her hand with something else.
Well…
RAKUL PREET
Rakul added on to the bling affair of the gala with her sequined wrap dress from Galia Lahav. Features like a plunging neckline and the tasselled broach accentuated the look of her outfit. Blended smokey eyes, pink lips and poker straight tresses gave justice to her beauty.
You, sexy!
KATRINA KAIF
For the launch of her beauty line, Kay by Katrina, Kat made an appearance in a popping yellow number by Alex Perry. Well no love no hate for the look, but you really need to break the mould, girl!
Meh!
ARJUN KAPOOR
We have mixed feeling about Arjun’s look in this DustOfGods ensemble. What are your thoughts on this one?
Fab or drab?
So that’s it for this week. See you next time with a bigger list. Stay tuned to PeepingMoon.com
