Gwyneth Paltrow's brand Goop has been in the industry for over a decade now.
For their recent sports line, the diva collaborated with Proenza Schouler for a very chic-looking range that's the perfect amalgamation of sporty and sexy.
“We’ve been seeing an uptake in loungewear and ath-leisure,” says Shawn Kearny, Goop’s general manager of fashion and home. He adds that in such times of distress, where people are stuck at home, the demand for such a range is high, given many indulge in home workouts and indoor activities, like yoga or meditation. "We discussed holding the collection, if it was another category..." since many their offices and warehouses are shut, given the COVID-19 global scare.
McCollough and Hernandez, founders of Proenza Schouler added, “When she called and asked if we would be interested in working together, we said yes. We love everything about Goop and know so many Proenza Schouler customers who live in both brands. In many ways, we consider Gwyneth to be the ultimate Proenza Schouler woman."
