Rana Dauggubati’s wedding to Miheeka Bajaj was so grand and magical, that even the pandemic of COVID-19 couldn’t dampen its vibe! From the lavish venue of Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad to its gorgeous floral decors and deep-rooted wedding traditions, everything about this intimate wedding was magical. Although, what took the cake for us were Miheeka’s jaw-dropping, statement-making looks that were unique and non-quintessential. Bride-to-be’s we suggest you sit down and take notes for this one!
Right from her Roka outfit to her grand wedding trousseau, here’s what Miheeka did to STAND OUT from the rest of the celebrity bridal tribe this wedding season!
Most of the time, Mihika kept it subtle and elegant, highlighting that one hero-element that stood out and made a difference to her look. Decoding all her bridal looks, here's an all-rounder makeup to jewellery dissection highlighting all the statement elements that took her looks a notch higher!
THE BEAUTIFUL BLOUSE
For her Roka outfit, the stunner opted for a simple Kanjeevaram saree from label Jayanti Reddy that highlighted her statement-making embroidered blouse. Keeping the other elements lowkey, she opted for a dainty necklace, some soft glam and open tresses.
CUSTOM MASK
This pre-wedding look from label Jayanti Reddy was as dreamy as it could get without letting go of its elegance and subtlety. Her mint green embroidered lehenga came with a detailed pastel dupatta that gave her ethnic outfit an interesting contrast. She accessorized her lehenga with a statement necklace, dainty kadas, and an all-eyes-on-me maang tika from label Krsala's collection.
Although, the custom-made face mask, similar to her outfit, surely emerged as a statement element in this ethnic look.
COWRIE SHELLS
Bajaj kickstarted her Haldi festivities in sunshine personified Anand Kabra but not without a statement-making twist!
Ditching the done-and-dusted floral accessories, she opted for cowrie shell jewels from label Arpita Mehta that made quite a difference. Something unusual but definitely attention-grabbing!
THE ETHEREAL LEHENGA
Continuing her streak of Less is More, Miheeka opted for a custom made raspberry pink ensemble from label Arpita Mehta that featured hand-embroidered jacket infused with mirror work, elegant detailing and a sexy crisscross back. The lehenga skirt bore a cut-out embroidered border on its hemline and subtle handwork detailing all over.
Making her outfit the hero of her look, she teamed it up with minimal statement-making maang-tikka encrusted and heavy danglers from label Krsala Jewellery. She kept n classy on the glam front with a dewy makeup with smokey shimmery eyes and a luscious plum pout and soft romantic curls.
REGAL JEWELS
For her D-day, Bajaj skipped subtle creation for a magnum opus wedding lehenga and exuded grandeur and regality in an Anamika Khanna wedding trousseau as she walked down the aisle. Going full throttle, she opted for an intricately handwoven zardosi creation that bore the finest form of chikankari and gold metalwork on it and was paired with woven gold as well as a bridal red dupatta.
Apart from that dreamy lehenga, her jewels personified royalty like none other. Layers of necklaces and jewels encrusted with jadau pearls, polkis, emeralds, the statement Nath, the all-eyes-on-me matha-patti, those gorgeous kaleeras, danglers and bangles…gosh, we could cry!
So ladies, what’s your takeaway from Miheeka’s modish, millennial and definitely non-quintessential bridal style?
