Madhuraya to Needledust, Priyanka Chopra Jonas approved female-led homegrown brands to look out for!

Though Priyanka Chopra Jonas must be an international icon globally, she is still our Desi Girl at heart. As these tough times of COVID-19 pandemic had cost big bucks to the fashion fraternity, the humble and small scale businesses are trying hard to make their ends meet and stay afloat.

With an aim to support the small scale businesses in such trying situations, our very own PeeCee has taken it to her social media to step in for this noble cause and boost it up by giving them a shout out!

“I'm making a small start today by supporting a few businesses run by inspiring women. These brands have been impacted by the pandemic and my hope is that we can help give them and their businesses a boost. Let's help them navigate this new normal,” read an excerpt from her post. With this, Chopra started making a beauty-and-fashion round-up tagging all the female-led businesses from India. The never-ending list of her favorite includes the brand Madhuraya, whose saree she draped receiving her Padma Shri in 2016, Mrinalini Chandra, the name and brand behind her trendsetting kaliras, sustainable label Ka-Sha, footwear brands Needle Dust and Aprajita Toor, label Ritika Sachdeva, Eka, amongst many others.
