Welcome back, PeepingMoon readers, we are back with our Saturday’s sartorial shenanigans rolled in a coveted fashion segment- Moonwalk! With the city resuming back to the ‘new normalcy’ and major festivals bestowed upon us, our B-town divas and dapper men gave us some major #OOTDs to flex upon this week.
Missed the fashion roundup for the week? Don’t worry, we are here to save the day!
Grabbing the top spot on the list, Malla made for a shimmery doll in a blingy tasseled number from label Yousef Al Jasmi. This sexy halter neck creation hugged her curves just at the right places and gave us a peek of her toned legs from that feisty slit. Adding on to the bling affair, she teamed up her couture with a pair of statement danglers from The Tiana Jewellery. With a fresh dewy glam and pulled back bun, she rounded off her look.
All things bling and beautiful
Joining Malla in the soiree of all things bling, Nora sported a tiered dress from label Self Portrait that featured a plunging neckline. Not going OTT on accessories, she opted for a dainty pair of hoops from Arvino. Keeping glam understated, she rounded off her look with nude lips and soft romantic curls.
SONAM KAPOOR AHUJA
OG style icon Sonam opted for a fresh look in a paste suit from Bouguessa which of course, came with its own set of quirks. Her eccentric outfit featured an oversized white shirt that was paired with a pleated skirt and layered with a long blazer furthermore. Minimal yet statement-making jewels from Olio studios accessorized her attire. She rounded off her look with a pair of white Nike sneaks, Odeem handbag and a pulled back bun.
KAREENA KAPOOR KHAN
After months of lockdown, Bebo stepped out of the house to meet her gal pals putting her stylish foot forward. Mommy-to-be Bebo radiated glow in a Rajdeep Ranwat ensemble that featured an ivory short kurta and palazzo pants layered with a printed shrug. We think we just found a bookmark-worthy look that would qualify for a maternity style file!
Slaying as always
Another Kapoor fashionista makes it to our list. For Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at the Kapoor residence, Lolo opted for an elegant floral ethnic wear from label Gulabo Jaipur. Going easy on the accessories, she opted for a statement necklace and a pair of earrings to complement her outfit. A subtle glam and a pulled back hairdo completed her festive look.
Samantha brought back the summer vibes on the list with her Nicholas number featuring floral prints. A statement-making chunky belt cinched her attire seamlessly while to minimalistic studs added a hint of dazzle to her breezy look.
Another soon-to-be mommy, Anushka set the internet ablaze with her pregnancy announcement. While the fangirl inside us was overwhelmed with joy, the inner-fashionista couldn’t help but notice Nush’s chic dress from Nicholas that featured puffy dramatic sleeves and a frilled hemline. The black polka dress hugged her baby bump at the right places and a dainty necklace served as a perfect accessory. Being an advocate for all things minimalistic, Sharma opted for a fresh face and side-parted open tresses.
DEEPIKA PADUKONE AND RANVEER SINGH
Lovebirds Deepika and Ranveer were spotted twinning in black tees and denim as they stepped out of the airport. In addition to the face masks what stole our attention were the couple’s expensive fanny packs from Nike and Fendi. A decent jet off look overall, though Ranveer's flared denim details were a bit of downer. Umm too eccentric for our taste, what do you think?
An extra brownie point just for the fanny packs
SARA ALI KHAN
Sara opted for a metallic off-shouldered number from Appapop and for the week we are having mixed feelings about this look. The blingy outfit didn't really seem to flatter her curves and the only saving grace was her high sleek ponytail. Though it's compared to that of pop singer Ariana Grande, we feel it could have been a bit better.
What are your thoughts?
