Welcome back beloved PeepingMoon readers, we are back with our weekly sartorial update a.k.a Television Moonwalk. From pastel kurtis to chic dresses, this festive season of Ganesh Chaturthi surely gave us some ethnic looks to look out for while self-isolating at home.
Ready for a sartorial ride? Let’s begin!
ANKITA LOKHANDE
Ankita made for our perfect Marathi mulgi in not one but three smashing looks and we can’t cope! For her first look, she opted for a traditional saree and accessorized it with pearl-encrusted nath and earrings, a waist chain and a tiny chandrakor. An understated glam and a curly bun completed her look.
For her second look, she opted for a pristine white saree that bore delicate embroidered details and some sequin elements and teamed up with a sheer blouse. Opting for statement danglers and subtle glam, she completed her look.
Here’s another festive look from the diva in a striped purple dress.
Gosh, so pretty!
TINA DATTA
Tina made us stop and stare flaunting the royal blue hues for the week and we are in love. Her heavily embroidered and intricately detailed floral lehenga surely left us googly-eyed! Letting her outfit take the centre stage, Datta finished her look with a nude pout, winged eyes, and perfectly curled tresses. That dainty jumkis and minuscule bindi defined all things love!
Here’s another blazing blue look for the week from label Kalki Fashions.
True blue fashionista indeed
HIMANSHI KHURANA
Himanshi floored us with her popping yellow lehenga donned for her recent magazine shoot. The off shouldered blouse featured prominent sequin detailing that matched with its dupatta and hemline. Not going OTT on accessories she let her statement neckpiece steal the thunder.
Though it’s a magazine shoot look, it’s too good to miss!
AAMNA SHARIF
Aamna cut out a beautiful picture in a floor-length floral anarkali from Saundh India. She elevated her desi look furthermore with a pair of statement danglers and bold red lips. With textured curls, she rounded off her look.
Floral glory
POWER COUPLES: RAVI DUBEY- SARGUN MEHTA AND DIPIKA KAKKAR- SHOIAB IBRAHIM
Power couples Ravi-Sargun and Dipika-Shoaib shelled out some couple fashion goals and we need to bookmark them right away. Ravi and Sargun made for a soothing sight in a golden silk kurta and beige sharara from label Malavika Kapoor. A pair pf statement danglers and those embellished juttis gave her subtle look a tinge of dazzle.
Musing in pastels, Shoaib and Dipika got us reeling in the feels with their subdued hues. Kakkar opted for a powder blue sharara from Gopi Vaid Designs while Ibrahim was our dapper man in a beige Jodhpuri from La Adore.
Festive fashion goals
PUNIT PATHAK AND NIDHI MOONY SINGH
Punit and Nidhi got engaged in an intimate yet dreamy ceremony and we can’t take our eyes off their vibrant outfits. Bride-to-be opted for a lehenga in a vibrant shade of yellow while our dapper groom mused in pastel and floral sherwani.
Picture Perfect!
KARISHMA TANNA AND VINNAYA ARORA DHOOPAR
Karishma was our pretty saree naari for the week and we can’t get enough of this beaut draped in gorgeous six yards from label Spoil Me Silly. Dainty silver jhumkis accentuated her traditional look furthermore. Opting for a subtle glam with a tiny bindi and a side-parted bun, she was good to go.
Vinnaya whitewashed them all with her pristine saree look from label Karustuti. Those dainty silver jewels, subtle glam and a gajra adorned bun with sindoor took her traditional look a notch higher. Chandani feels indeed!
Saree me good
SHEFALI ZARIWALA
This week, Shefali flaunted a hot pink anarkali that bore embroidered details. A pair of statement-making danglers accentuated her ethnic look furthermore. With a subtle glam and poker-straight hairdo, she rounded off her look.
Think pink
SHRENU PARIKH AND RIDHIMA GUPTA
Shrenu and Ridhma brought in the festivities in floral shararas from Maayera Jaipur. Parikh opted for a bright white while Pandit was musing in mellow yellows. Both the divas accessorized their respective outfits with statement silver earrings and let their hair down with some subtle glam.
Twinning much?
HINA KHAN
Bringing something new to the fashion table (in our case, list) every time, Hina served us another casual look for the week. We can’t wait to try that Snoopy oversized shirt from Loveable Creations, courtesy Khan.
A decent look for a casual outing
SPECIAL MENTION: CHLOE FERNS QURESHI’S MATERNITY SHOOT
Creative Director at Balaji Telefilms, Chloe Ferns Qureshi tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Aslam Qureshi on December 16, 2018, in a dreamy wedding ceremony and the duo welcomed their baby girl on August 26, 2020. To cherish the memory of welcoming their little one, the then elated parents-to-be did a stunning maternity shoot and we were left picking up our dropped jaws off the floor! Check it out:
With this, we end our list for the week. See you next time around!
