Moonwalk: Kareena Kapoor Khan slays with her multiple marternity looks; Ananya Panday personifies sunshine

Hey there internet tribe, we are back with B-town’s weekly sartorial update a.k.a Moonwalk. With celebrities stepping out and about the city once again, we are served with some generous doses of fashion.

So before you binge away for the weekend, here are some fashion highlights from the week:

KAREENA KAPOOR KHAN

Bebo blessed us with back to back maternity looks for the week and we are not complaining! Making whites look sexy, Bebo rocked a high neck top and teamed it with baggy flared pants. Opting for dainty danglers and subtle glam, she rounded off her chic look with half-tied tresses.

Celebrating her 40th birthday, Kareena opted for floral House of Masaba separates that came with an off shouldered drape top and a flowy skirt. A dainty diamond and emerald encrusted necklace added a touch of sparkle to her look. Bebo opted for a de-glam look and let her maternity glow take over. Poker straight tresses added finishing touches to her look.

Making another appearance, she stepped out in a cobalt blue jumpsuit from Lovebirds studio that bore a collar detailing and long sleeves. Opting for a de-glam avatar, she rounded off her look with a poker-straight hairdo.

Yummy Mummy

ALIA BHATT

Strutting out and about the city, Alia is back with two more looks for the week. The actress kept it breezy in a floral Sorrento mini dress from the label Summer Somewhere. Those popping neon heels were enough to let her tangy number stand out.

While visiting Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhatt was snapped in an earth print dress from label Cord. A Saint Laurent canvas tote served as perfect arm candy on her casual look.

SOPHIE CHOUDRY AND APARSHAKTI KHURANA

Supporting Shantanu & Nikhil’s collection at India Couture Week 2020, Sophie and Aparshakti Khurana made for a classy virtual front-row audience dressed from the duo’s collection. Sophie rocked a one-shouldered monochrome top with a matching pair of flared pants. Shimmery smokey eyes, glossy pink lips and centre-parted tresses gave finishing touches to her look.

Apar looked suave in an olive green bandhgala that featured a blue stripe on his pants and coat. Teaming the look with a pair of cool shades, he rounded off his look.

BHUMI PEDNEKAR

Donning sexy co-ors and printed midis, Bhumi was a chic-on-fleek this week with her breezy dressing. Bhumi whitewashed us all with her chic co-ord set from Dalida Ayach boutique that featured a dramatic ruffled top and skirt. Golden danglers from Azotiique and a braided hairdo rounded off her look.

For another outing, the chica opted for a printed maxi dress from label Saaksha & Kinni. That hat surely added a dramatic touch to her look.

Drama Mama

ANANYA PANDAY

Promoting her upcoming film, Ananya personified sunshine in a strapless Michael Costello number that featured ruffles around the bust. Opting for an understated glam and a no-accessory route, she let her lacy dress do all the talking!

ANUSHKA SHARMA

Nush took a dip in the pool flaunting a strapless monokini from Asos that featured ruffled around the bust. The black swimwear hugged her just at the right places and accentuated her baby bump. Flaunting that maternal glow, she rounded off her look with open tresses.

Mamma Mia

KARISMA KAPOOR AND AMRITA ARORA

For Bebo’s birthday sister Karisma and BFF Amrita opted for bewitching looks in their LBDs. Karisma opted for a classic route in a chic Zara LBD and paired it with grey pumps and a black handbag. Minimal dressing with a maximum impact!

Amrita, spiced things up a bit and opted for a strapless high-low LBD that bore dramatic sleeves. Just like Lolo, Amrita opted for a de-glam look with a centre-parted ponytail. Pairing her look with a pair of sleek red heels, she was good to go.

Reeling in the Goa feels, Varun donned a pair of floral co-ords that could easily pass as jammies. Pulling off his new hairdo with a hairband, he rounded off his look with a pair of cool sunnies.

NEHA DHUPIA

Neha sported an off shouldered, hand-painted dress from label Vedhikam. Chunky bangles and a statement choker from Ritika Sachdeva accessorized her striped number furthermore. With poker straight tresses and subtle glam, she completed her look.

Stripe it out

KAJOL AND ESHA GUPTA

Saree Naaris for the week, Kajol and Esha cut out an elegant picture with their gorgeous drapes. Kajol looked resplendent in her polka printed Anita Dongre drape and paired her look with a pair of dazzling danglers. With a subtle glam and messy curls, she rounded off her look.

Esha flaunted a floral drape from her sister’s label Ranian by Neha Gupta. Elegant jewels and a dainty bindi accentuated her ethnic look furthermore. A soft, dewy glam and centre-parted sleek bun added finishing touches to her look.

NEENA GUPTA

Neena brought back the old world charm with her green brocade salwar suit that bore a golden thread work all over. A pair of danglers and kadas elevated her traditional attire furthermore. With soft glam and open tresses, she rounded off her look.

Given her sound sartorial past and some smashing looks for the past few weeks, Nora’s brocade look this time around was a tad bit underwhelming. The co-ord set was too jazzy for our taste and did not complement her petite figure that well.
