Riri was right, ‘Y’all aren’t ready for this’
Amongst all the bad news that the year 2020 had to offer, Rihanna’s announcement about dropping the SavagexFenty Vol 2 show came as a splendid surprise. Outdoing herself yet again, Rihanna presented her ground-breaking, super-inclusive and mildly put 'EPIC' fashion show one more time on October 2.
Available now on Amazon Prime Video, the one-hour long show is a sequel to her 2019 masterpiece featuring her AW20 lingerie collection that serves as a fashion and music parade of all sorts. Upping up the ante this year, Riri went all out and included a spectacular star-studded cast from all walks of life and ticked that box of inclusivity from her list. The music mogul turned beauty entrepreneur also debuted her menswear collection on the fashion show and gave everyone something to celebrate about.
The show opens with Rihanna strutting down the runway in her sexy black lingerie, fishnet thong and we are blessed!
Following her act, the show witnesses some incredible performances by Rosalia, Ella Mai, Mustard and Roddy Ricch, Bad Bunny, Miguel, DJ Angelo, amongst others.
Talking about the oomph factor, supermodel Bella Hadid makes for a feisty Catwoman by fusing latex with lingerie. Her edgy ensemble is an amalgamation of a lacy bra, mesh underpants and thigh-high tights, arm-length latex gloves and layers of bling.
Just when we thought we could never get over Bella, a 57-year-old Demi Moore steals the show in lacy black intimates along with fishnet stockings and some dainty diamond bling.
Normani appears as a sexy bride in a white bra, lacy underwear layered with mesh shorts and latex gloves and stockings. That veil is an absolute cherry on the cake!
Paris Hilton slays with her pink bodystocking while Irina Shayk dazzls in her shimmery hot pants.
Lizzo cures away the 2020 blues with her lacy lingerie sets with matching gloves and a statement neckpiece.
Drag artists Jaida Essence Hall, Shea Couleé and Gigi Goode and others set the runway on fire with their acts and performances.
Music artist and collaborator Christian Combs unveils the line of menswear collection on the runway. Something for everyone, isn’t it?
