The weekend is here and so are we! Hey there PeepingMoon fam, we are back with our sartorial segment for the week, fondly known as the Moonwalk. With shoots and shows resuming, the B-town is bouncing back to ‘new-normalcy’ allowing our favorite celebs to serve us some lewks.
Without wasting another minute, let's dissect fashion moments for this week.
SONAM KAPOOR AHUJA
Sonam is our OG style icon and there are no two ways about that fact. For her all-gals night out in London, the Kapoor fashionista opted for a monochrome look in a chic white crop top and black trousers and layered it with a striped Mariam Al Sibai overcoat. Statement hoops, pointy Manolo Blahnik pumps and a gorgeous Gabriela Hearst arm candy accessorized her look furthermore. Opting for smokey eyes and a classic bun, she finished her look.
Here are some other looks flaunted by Sonam throughout the week:
For her ‘day look’, Sonam sported a loose striped top and paired it with trousers from Stella McCartney and Nike sport shoes. She accessorized her look with a silver neckpiece and cool shades. Tying her hair in a classic bun, she rounded off her look. For her ‘night look’ layered her Wardrobe NYC separates with a tasted and multi-hued Etro jacket and sported a Jeenaa bag.
Here’s our Kapoor fashionista looking like a million bucks in a Dries Van Noten floral blazer teamed with a turtleneck and pleated skirt.
Bang on!
AKSHAY KUMAR AND VAANI KAPOOR
Flying back to India, the Bell Bottom duo, Akshay and Vaani brought back the good old charm with their vintage dressing. Vaani teamed her crisp white shirt with a pair of super flared a.k.a 'Bell Bottom' denim and a subtle glam. Akshay teamed his casual black tee blue denim combo with a beige overcoat and tinted aviators.
Go retro!
FREIDA PINTO
Freida added a playful twist to her bossy pantsuit and flaunted a floral Dolce and Gabbana 3-piece. She teamed up her suit with strappy silver heels and finished her look with a subtle glam.
Playful and bossy
TAMANNAAH BHATIA
For a jewellery brand’s virtual opening, Tamannaah cut out an elegant picture in a Chanderi scalloped saree from label Mishru. Blings from Malabar Gold and Diamonds added an element of sparkle to her look while a radiant glam and soft tousled curls gave justice to her beauty.
Saree Naari
VIDYA BALAN
Vidya continued her saree streak this week as well and sported a retro polka drape along with a striped blouse from Satya Paul. Opting for a no accessory route she let her retro drape do all the talking.

Saree not sorry
MALAIKA ARORA
Post recovering from COVID-19, Malaika is back in the grind and has been serving back to back looks already. Malla’s neon maxi dress featured a pleated detailing and came with a sexy back. A matching belt cinched her attire effortlessly while that Louis Vuitton tote served as perfect arm candy. Taking the de-glam route, she tired her hair in a sleek low ponytail and covered her face with a polka mask.
For another appearance, she opted for a monochrome checkered midi dress that came with strappy sleeves. She styled her outfit with a pair of Reebok slides and teamed up her look with a white sling bag. Opting for a high bun, she rounded off her look.
Casually chic
ALIA BHATT AND JANHVI KAPOOR
Alia made an appearance in the city in a breezy Ganni dress layered it up with a denim jacket. Transparent block heels and a face mask rounded off her attire. Chic and fuss-free, isn’t it?
For her grandmother's birthday celebration, Janhvi opted for an elegant look in an intricate hand embroidered Lily dress from label Anita Dongre Grassroots. Teaming her de-glam look with a floral face mask, she was good to go.
Easy breezy
SONAKSHI SINHA
Sonakshi opted for a Dabangg look in a breezy Saaksha and Kinni gown. She paired her noodle-strap number with black pumps and a fanny pack. Opting for winged eyes, nude glam and poker-straight hairdo, she was good to go.
Hola, chica
CHITRANGDA SINGH
Chitrangda raised the temperature with her swimwear separates and layered it up with a printed jacket. Opting for an earthy look, she finished her look with beachy waves.
Beach perfect!
MALAVIKA MOHANAN
Musing in pastel hues, Malavika painted a soothing picture in a mint and lilac chiffon drape gown from label Zwaan. A dainty necklace accessorized her strapless number while that tiny flow gave a feminine touch to her one-sided braid.
Soothing
NEHA DHUPIA
For an event, Neha opted for a printed asymmetrical number from the label AMPM and teamed it up with a brown trench coat. Although it isn’t a bad look, we’ve seen Neha sporting these kinds of attires as long as we can remember. Given her sound sartorial past, this one feels like a tad bit downer.
Same old same old
So, with this, we bid you adieu. See you next week with some more fashion updates.
