Moonwalk: Young guns Sara Ali Khan- Varun Dhawan 'check' the right boxes; Alaya F turns a millennial bride

Welcome back fans and fashionistas. It’s that time of the week when we list out the sartorial updates in the form of our coveted fashion segment- Moonwalk. It’s the festive week y’all and our tinsel town divas and dapper men are leaving no stone unturned to serve us some lip-smacking looks ahead of the Diwali festivities.

Without taking much of your time, allow us to present to you the fashion highlights for the week!

Ahead of Diwali, Kiara made for a Laxmii Bomb in a perky and polka Tamanna Punjabi Kapoor drape teamed up with a boho blouse and belt. Danglers from Mrinalini Chandra elevated the look of her attire. With a subtle glam and poker-straight hairdo, she looked premiere-ready!

Malla blessed us with purple rains dressed in a sheer and lacy gown from Marchesa. The cute cuts and floral deets added an element of elegance to her sultry lilac attire. With minimal bling and subtle glam, she let her sexy dress do all the talking!

Mommy-to-be Kareena slayed yet another maternity look for the week. For another episode of What Women Want, Bebo layered her monotone dress with a vibrant, two-toned reversible jacket, all from label Dhruv Kapoor. Earrings from Misho accessorized her outfit. Opting for her signature kohl-rimmed smokey eyes, nude lips, and a high bun, she rounded off her look.

Turning muse for designer Shehlaa Khan, Alaya served us some lip-smacking looks that were too good to miss! Her lacy cap sleeve bustier blouse was paired with a full flare high slit chiffon skirt and matching chantilly lace dupatta. A statement neckpiece accessorized her ethnic look furthermore.

Making a strong case for fusion fashion, Alaya teamed up a silver blazer blouse with a floral appliqué lace lehenga. Smokey shimmery eyes, messy waves, completed her look.

Sustainability champion Dia Mirza cut out an elegant picture in this handwoven linen saree from label Anavila. She teamed up her mellow-yellow drape with a sleeveless high-neck blouse. Silver accessories added an element of glamour to her ethnic attire. Going easy on the glam front, she rounded off her look with a braided hairdo.

Joining the bling brigade, Katrina sizzled in Manish Malhotra’s signature sequined drape from his latest collection Ruhaaniyat. She teamed up her two-toned blingy drape with pearl-encrusted jewels from Kalyan Jewellers. With muted glam and textured waves, she finished her look.

Sonam kept it breezy in a crisp white Cecilie Bahnsen dress that bore puffy sleeves, ruffled tiers and Victorian-inspired knotty back detail. A chic Hermes bag, statement silver neckpiece and Nike shoes completed her breezy look.

Shweta channeled boho vibes with her pastel co-ord set layered with a bohemian jacket from label Payal Singhal. A pair of embellished sneaks from The Saree Sneakers added to the drama of her look. Muted glam and textured waves added finishing touches to her look.

Kajal is giving us vacay goals of all sorts with her honeymoon pictures and we are in love. The actress sported a breezy floral beach gown that bore a feisty slit and a dangerous back. A bucket hat and a pair of shades completed her look.

For another vacay outing, Kajal sported checkered co-ords from label Who When Wear clothing. A cute headband and statement hoops elevated her breezy look furthermore.

Ananya kept it red-hot for the week in her Aroka satin slip dress and we were left picking our dropped jaws off the floor. Keeping her glam understated, she rounded off her look with beach wave curls.

While promoting their upcoming film Coolie No. 1, Sara and Varun cut out a stylish picture with their checkered looks. Sara donned an asymmetrical dress that bore off-shouldered detailing. Varun kept it classy with his white tee, ripped denim and layered shirt.

For another promotional outing, Sara wore a denim dress from Leo & Lin.

Making pink and purple look cooler for men, VD sported a Pangaia sweatshirt and sweatpants. Suave Reebok kicks rounded off his attire. While Sara was quite predictable with her sartorial choices, VD made it up with his pretty-pink surprises.

Looks like Men in Pink are painting the town red for the week. For Chhalaang promotions, Rajkummar sported a classic white-tee-ripped-denim look and layered it with a pink bomber jacket from Triune.

Nora worked the power of her mighty whiteys dressed in semi-formal attire. Her knotty top and baggy pants were teamed up with sleek stilettos and a black bag. Going easy on glam, she rounded off her look with nude lips and soft curls.

Kangana’s customized Anuradha Vakil lehenga is a classic example of how infusing way too many elements can never help the look. Bold colour-blocking, heavily embroidered lehenga teamed with OTT jewels and a rose adorned bun is a bit too much to take.
