Hola, fashionistas! It’s time to review recent fashion updates brought to you by Peeping Moon’s coveted weekly segment- Moonwalk! Our tinsel townies served us their sartorial best and we're here with all the deets. Let’s check out who shone the brightest this week
Nora Fatehi gave us a magnificent vision to remember in a dark copper brown embellished gown. The full-sleeved ensemble justified her hourglass frame well and also featured a long cape. She kept her beach waves classy in a side partition, makeup simple and regal jewellery minimal.
Prima Donna Grandeur
Madhuri Dixit made everyone's heartbeat go 'dhak dhak' again in a green tulle lehenga set by Amit Aggarwal. The emerald green blouse had hand-embroidered lace detailing and a plunging sweetheart neckline. The sleeveless blouse also featured cut-out details on the hem. Her drape was hand-embroidered with moulded lace too.
Envied In Green
Malaika Arora never fails to bring timeless couture to the limelight. This time she oozed oomph in an iconic Manish Malhotra sequinned saree. The heavily embellished golden ensemble was six yards and styled perfectly with a diamond choker sans any earrings. The bronzed beauty kept her tresses open and makeup subtly glam.
Hot damn, this even seems Kim-Kardashian-approved! Designer Masaba Gupta raised the hotness quotient in all earthy glory. Dressed in a brown crop-top and beige skirt, she seemed heavenly dripping in such a nude colour palette. Further, gold accessories and brown lip colour complete her look.
What A Stunner!
SHERSHAAH PROMOTIONS: SIDHARTH MALHOTRA AND KIARA ADVANI
Since Shershaah promotions began, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's chemistry was unmissable, so were their style statements.
While Kiara dressed up in a designer black-and-white bralette and skirt set, Sidharth Malhotra looked dapper in a pinstriped blue blazer and pants set. He paired the western wear with a black kurta and a bandhani scarf. Hence, their attires were a perfect amalgamation of modernity and traditional ethnics and we're all for it!
Alexa, play Royals by Lorde! Actress Deepika Padukone looked like royalty in a lovely Gauri and Nainika creation. Her black and white polka-dotted dress featured a plunging neckline and a flared backside. The frilly details all over and on the sleeves gave it some volume. Her hair was up in a high knot; her makeup was tender.
Rock N Roll
We believe good pantsuits take you to good places. And Radhika Madan couldn't agree more with us. Hence, she donned a sleek Amit Aggarwal pantsuit in fiery red. Her bold blazer flaunted a plunging neckline and pleated half-sleeves with wide-legged trousers. Dewy makeup and red pumps later, she looked ready to reign the world.
Fiery In Red
PINK PASTELS: RICHA CHADHA AND JAHNVI KAPOOR
Peach is a fan-favourite! Our B-town divas are all about providing us with stylish workweek inspiration in the same hue. Richa Chadha looked straight-up fabulous in a sharp pastel pink blazer with white collars and buttons. She just needed hoops and beige footwear to amp up her look!
Jahnvi Kapoor's rosy toned fitted jumpsuit showed off off-shoulder ruched sleeves and wide-legged pants. She added hoop earrings and strap nude heels for a chic touch.
Ananya Panday offers more routine wear inspos due to her girl-next-door and affordable style. Recently she was spotted in a nude co-ord of a crop top and mini skirt spruced up with cool accessories. Panday paired the asymmetrical flattering pieces with bright pink strappy square-toe heels, adding a splash of colour to the mix.
Actress Bhumi Pednekar recently made a powerful statement in her all-black pantsuit. Her blazer's highlight was the one-sided drape sleeve cascading down her back like a divine dome. With minimal makeup and nude lips, she ditched almost all accessories. However, we love the embellished pointed heels from Christian Louboutin!
Powerful Girl Boss
Kangana Ranaut isn't unknown to throwing the internet on fire either from opinions or style statements. Thankfully it's the latter this time! She sizzled in a see-through bustier corset and high-waisted pants in white. She styled the look with nude makeup and layered yet classy golden jewellery to exude oodles of sensual elegance.
Raising The Temperatures And How
Lara Dutta joined the clan of the saree-lovers clan on 'National Handlooms Day'. The BellBottom star draped herself in a bespoke silk saree by designer Tarun Tahiliani. She teamed the elegant six yards with a unique sequinned off-shoulder black blouse. The sleek high ponytail and boho-chic choker glammed up her look further.
SONAM KAPOOR AHUJA
Sonam Kapoor wore 'The Vampire's Wife' for the 'gram. Her all-black firefly dress in crepe and silk satin featured frills, voluminous full sleeves, an asymmetrical hemline, a high neckline and an A-line cut skirt. Her Louis Vuitton egg case handbag and The Row’s blush pink suede shoes only added more bliss to her Victorian number.
Actor-producer Genelia Deshmukh looked drop-dead gorgeous in a satin tulip yellow dress from World of Gaya. Her one-shouldered dress starred a knot detail on the waist and a sky-high thigh slit. She enhanced her look more with a red pout, golden hoops, beige sandals and a Marilyn Monroe aspired red pout. Yay!
TRIED AND TESTED: TAMANNAAH AND BHATIA HUMA QURESHI
Tamannaah Bhatia tried to bring the glossy and bossy in a metallic faux leather dress that heavily indulged in random pleats and a cinched waist.
Whereas, another BellBottom actress, Huma Qureshi tried to slay a lilac suit dress. Though we heart metallics, faux leather, lilac hue and suit dresses, we can't seem to understand what's going on in here?
Something Is Missing
With this, we end our list for the week. See you next time around with more fashion updates. Stay tuned!
