It’s been 24 hours since lovebirds Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot but the sartorial extravaganza continues to linger on. After dating each other for five years, the duo took a plunge and said ‘I Do’ in a close-knit ceremony attended by close friends and family, yesterday, April 14, 2022.

Skipping the crème de la crème of Bollywood, this intimate affair was attended by a selected few from the showbiz. KARISMA KAPOOR

Karisma oozed elegance in an organza drape adorned with floral embroidered detailing. A striped orange blouse added a pop of colour to her white attire. Elevating her look furthermore was her stunning matha patti and chand baalis along with chunky kadas. The actress rounded off her look with an understated glam and a classic pulled-back bun.

KARAN JOHAR

For both wedding and pre-wedding festivities, Karan looked every bit dapper in popping Manish Malhotra sherwanis elevated furthermore with mirror-embellishments and delicate embroidery. His look was teamed with uber-cool aviators and loafers. The highlight of his both attires was undoubtedly the ‘A’ and ‘R’ rings dedicated to the bride and groom.

AKANSHA RANJAN KAPOOR

Alia’s BFF and bridesmaid Akansha exuded subtlety in an elegant Sabyasachi drape that bore printed floral detailing and a zari border on the hemline. Keeping things understated, the actress opted for a pair of statement-making earrings and put together her look with a neutral glam, minuscule bindi and a classic bun.

ANISSA MALHOTRA JAIN

Anissa rocked both pre-wedding and wedding festivities with her lehenga look. The diva opted for a blush pink lehenga from the label Geisha Designs for the sangeet and dazzled in a scintillating Suneet Varma look for the wedding. That diamond headgear certainly jazzed up her look furthermore!

SHWETA BACHCHAN AND NAVYA NAVELI NANDA

The mother-daughter duo of Shweta and Navya kept it understated with their Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla looks for the occasion. Shweta made for a divine vision in the label’s vintage embroidered saree paired with a bugle beaded blouse while Navya opted for a lime green organdy appliqué saree styled with a turquoise collared blouse.
