Bollywood’s adorable jodi, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha are sharing their love since 2015. 2.5 years after legally getting married, they called for celebrations and hosted several grand events to share their love with their family and friends. The much-in-love couple sparked the internet with their love-struck photos and impeccable sartorial picks for the wedding festivities.
From dazzling traditional picks for the cocktail to turning into absolute royalty for their Awadhi-style royal ceremony, styled by Anisha Gandhi and Rochelle D’sa Syiemiong, Richa and Ali were all smiles as they dressed to the nines for their wedding festivities. Mehendi Magic
The couple stunned everyone by sharing a glimpse of her sangeet ceremony. The bride looked prettiest donning a pastel pink coloured lehenga from Rahul Mishra. Her outfit featured a heavy floral lehenga with the 3-D petal-designed off-shoulder choli and a matching net dupatta. She kept her look minimal with a statement neckpiece and matching earrings by Archana Aggarwal.
On the other hand, Ali slipped into a custom Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla beige angarkha set and paired it with white pyjamas and a matching embroidered dupatta. He paired the ethnic ensemble with tan-brown juttis.
Classy Cocktails
The fantastic duo hosted a cocktail party that was all about dazzling traditional picks and glamour. Richa's customized Kresha Bajaj golden sari with mirror work and heavy embroidery, as well as the blouse with a sweetheart neckline, had us in awe.
She accentuated the look with a hefty choker necklace, dangling golden bangles, and earrings made especially for her by an ancestral Bikaneri jeweller family. The actor finished off the look with kohled eyes, soft makeup that featured a perfectly contoured face, and a nude lip colour while wearing her hair up in a high ponytail.
Ali looked charming as he complimented Richa's outfit with a white patterned kurta set and a multicoloured sherwani by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla that was beautifully embroidered.
Lucknowi-style Ceremony
The love birds transformed into royalty as they celebrated their wedding in Awadhi style and embraced Lucknow culture. Both Ali and Richa wore matching ensembles from the same designer Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, and we couldn’t take our eyes off them as they looked so adorable and gave major couple goals.
Richa wore an off-white ghaghra with heavy embroidery which also featured multiple dupattas and a long veil. She teamed her outfit with statement-making heavy jewellery which consisted of a necklace, earrings, nath, maangteeka, and some bangles.
Complimenting his wifey, Ali made many heads turn with his wedding look as he donned an embroidered gold and beige sherwani longer than the usual length of it. He paired his look with off-white juttis from the brand Whitemuds.
Wedding Reception
The bride and groom stole the show in quirky outfits as they graced the wedding reception. Richa wore an amazing customized red structured gown from Anamika Khanna, and Ali looked dapper in an Indo-Western suit featuring a long coat which was designed by Kaushik Velendra. His dress also featured structured shoulders which accentuated his whole look. Wearing a white shirt underneath, she looked stunning.
Richa’s look was topped with amazing maangteeka and earrings which complimented her look quite well.
